Common questions
Can Ofcom sort out my dispute with my provider?
Not directly. Complain to the provider first; if it is unresolved after 8 weeks, take it to the provider's ombudsman (Communications Ombudsman or CISAS). Ofcom collects complaints to spot patterns and take enforcement action.
Who do I ring about nuisance calls?
Report them to Ofcom on this line or online. Scam calls where money was lost should also go to Report Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
